Short for Uniform Resource Locator, a URL is the location of a specific website, page, or file on the internet.  A URL is really just a website address. It begins with HTTP or HTTPS, as used in the example, followed by the domain name – which is the most identifiable element of a URL, such as ‘snapdragon-ip’. In addition, the URL may include an individual page or file. This would direct you to a specific page on the website. In this example it might be snapdragon-IP/about-us. HTTPS means this is a secure site and more trustworthy than an HTTP site.
