How do I report a Tweet on Twitter?
- Go to the Tweet or list you want to report
- Click on

- Select « Report ».
- Select “it’s abusive or harmful”.
- Explain why you believe the content is abusive
- If you agree, Twitter will send you follow-up emails following your report

NB. To report a Tweet or account you can also click on the drop-down arrow that appears on the side of the Tweet. This will take you to the same actions as listed above.
How do I report an Advert on Twitter?
Before you report a Twitter Ad, there are steps you can take which might resolve the issue.
- Dismiss the Ad by clicking the down arrow which appears in the right hand corner of the Tweet. Choose the option
which appears in the list.
- Contact the Advertiser directly by clicking on their profile and selecting
, which operates like an email message.
- Block the Advertiser, by clicking the down arrow which appears in the right hand corner of the Tweet. Choose the option
which appears in the list.
