The WhatsApp message comes from an unknown number, posing as a family member who urgently needs financial help. The message will ask for money to be transferred, usually via a link to an invoice that is included in the message. Always treat unexpected messages asking for money with caution and don’t be pressured by claims of urgency. Suspicious messages can be reported by sending the message to 7726 for investigation.
