Since the release of the NHS Scotland Covid-19 contact-tracing app last week, there have been more reports of criminals cold calling victims and demanding £500 for Covid-19 tests.
The Scottish First Minister warned the public that testing is free and callers will only ask about who they have been in contact with and any recent movements. A genuine track and trace staff member will never request financial information for testing or any other reason.
