A scam is circulating that is related to the Census that took place in March in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is a phishing style text message that states the recipient has ‘missing information from their Census application and directs them to a website in order to avoid a £1000 fine. This scam which is targeting people in Wales and England has been confirmed as a scam and people are being asked to not click on these messages.
