When you right click on an image, or highlight a piece of text, or numbers, or a folder, you are given the option to ‘copy’. This creates a duplicate of the data in a temporary storage on a ‘clipboard.’ An alternative to right-clicking is to highlight the word and press the shift key together with the letter ‘c’.
